The steel core ensures that the seal holds its shape while offering added protection. We produce this profile from a FDA compliant silicone rubber compound. They are ideal for use in high temperature and hazardous environments as well as being flame retardant to UL94-HB specification. The compound provides good resistance against exposure to fuel and lubricants. It also provides excellent resistance against water, water-glycol mixture, and salt spray, as well as a variety of detergents.
