I’m including the item name to help guard against any future review hijacking.I have no idea what the real battery capacity of this light is. I expect that it isn’t really 10,000 mAh, but I am not going to risk damaging the unit I received to open it up and check. However, it does keep going overnight even on the highest setting, which is long enough for me not to worry about it.I have no idea what the real brightness of this light is. It definitely isn’t really 4,000 lumens, but I expect brightness ratings from random lights and flashlights to be make-believe anyway. It does get uncomfortably bright in a confined space on the highest setting, which is bright enough for me not to worry about it.I have serious doubts about the IPX rating of this light. Yeah, there is no “but actually” for this one. Keep it far away from moisture, especially when the rubberized cover for the USB port inevitably falls off.I couldn’t get it to charge using a USB-C PD-capable charger. There is no “but actually” for this one, either. Only one of those dumb USB-A to USB-C cables worked. I’m going to have a few such cables around for the foreseeable future, so I’m not knocking off stars for this light being only kinda USB-C, but, well, it’s only kinda USB-C. As far as I’m concerned, it’s only kinda a power bank, too, since it can’t charge itself or your equipment at PD speeds.That still makes this a bright light that fits in your hand, lights up a room for hours and hours, can hang from a built-in hook or stick to a magnetic surface, and even comes with a free piece of single-sided metal tape that creates a magnetic surface where there isn’t one. And it runs around the $20 mark after discounts as of the date of review in mid-April 2025. At some point, you just have to take the W.
