If you attach a lot of things to handlebars on mountain bikes and scooters you might find that rough riding and vibration will cause your stuff to roll forward or backwards on the bars.You may even have accessories that come with plastic collars that are supposed to keep the clamp from rolling around. However those plastic collars are usually very hard plastics and very cheap plastics. These pieces are made from a much more elastic and grippy plastic. I know the description says rubber but I really doubt it’s actually rubber but some kind of synthetic elastomer that is very squishy. Regardless, it works really well since not only will your clamps stick better to the bar but the elasticity of this collar seems to absorb some of the energy of vibration.I tried a lot of other things until I tried these rubber collars and now all the clamps for my lights, phone holder, camera and even my duck buddy stay in place no matter how hard a hit my bikes or scooters take.
