Inside the package with these foam circles on a wooden stick there are several different circle sizes to choose from. I was disappointed to see how flimsy these dotting sticks are made. I paint with acrylics and watercolor paints. When these foam circle is are used with the watercolors, the foam circle side they makes a light circle when the paint is applied to the watercolor paper. When using acrylic paints, the paint is thicker, so I had to practice to get the foam circles applied onto the canvas and paper. Once I got some practice with creating circles with the foam sides, I turned around the foam stick to then use the wooden side and created even smaller sized circles. I am unsure how long these foam circles will last because they look a bit flimsy. For the price though, I feel you won’t really be too concern. These are okay.
