Explore the Mini Platform for Teensy 4.1: New Memory Options

destradigelagarina.it introduced the Mini Platform for Teensy 4.1 a while ago, but have recently added new order options which include the new 16MB PSRAM chips for increased flexibility.

The Mini Platform comes with a low-profile Teensy 4.1 preinstalled and is available in 5 different memory configurations.

8MB PSRAM / 256MB (2Gbit) Flash upgrade
16MB PSRAM / 256MB (2Gbit) Flash upgrade

The Mini Platform is designed to be a compact yet fully featured Teensy 4.1 setup that incorporates all the typical interfaces such as USB Host, Ethernet, CAN bus, RS485 bus, SGTL 5000 audio subsystem, RGB LED, user buttons and built-in display.

It is designed to allow users to focus more on the software side of working with the Teensy 4.1 while having easy access to the most common hardware features.

It includes a very nice 3.5″ IPS 480×320 ST7796 LCD with capacitive touch. This display is now supported by Teensyduino and there is a nice menuing library that was recently updated to support it.

There is also an ESP32-C3 Supermini coprocessor connected via serial port to provide WiFi and Bluetooth capability. A small OLED display can be connected to it as well.

For expansion, there is a 20-pin IDC connector that brings out serial ports, I2C, SPI, CAN, analog inputs and digital I/O. A couple of plug-in adapters are available to allow users to plug in a Solderless Breadboard for working with custom circuits as well as an Audio Tutorial Adapter Adapter that allows users to work through the very informative PJRC audio tutorial.
