HAZWOPER 24 Hour Training Package

This HAZWOPER 24 Hour General Training Package provides employees with the information they need to understand the major areas covered by the regulation. The package of twelve programs provides the basis for the special training required by OSHA for HAZMAT employees who are unlikely to be exposed to hazards in excess of permissible exposure limits, and includes: Decontamination Procedures Understanding Chemical Hazards The Emergency Response Plan Understanding HAZWOPER HAZMAT Labeling Personal Protective Equipment Medical Surveillance Programs Confined Space Entry Monitoring Procedures and Equipment Accidental Release Measures and Spill Cleanup Procedures Handling Hazardous Materials Work Practices and Engineering Controls This course satisfies OSHA requirements for the education portion of HAZWOPER training.  Students are also required to complete 1 day of in-person training led by a trained and experienced supervisor/trainer.   APEX can assist you in providing the in-person site-specific training & assessment component if needed – contact us for a quote.  It is imperative that students engage in hands on training activities related to the subject matter provided above to meet the time requirements as stated.
