HAZWOPER Emergency Response HAZMAT Technician Package

This HAZWOPER Emergency Response HAZMAT Technician Package provides employees with the information they need to understand the major areas covered by the regulation. The package of eleven programs provides the basis for the special training required for HAZMAT Technicians, and includes: Decontamination Procedures Understanding Chemical Hazards The Emergency Response Plan Understanding HAZWOPER HAZMAT Labeling Personal Protective Equipment Accidental Release Measures and Spill Cleanup Procedures Medical Surveillance Programs Safety Data Sheets in HAZWOPER Environments Respiratory Protection Monitoring Procedures and Equipment This course satisfies OSHA requirements for the education portion of HAZWOPER training.  Students are also required to complete in-person training led by a trained and experienced supervisor/trainer.   APEX can assist you in providing the in-person site-specific training & assessment component if needed – contact us for a quote.  It is imperative that students engage in hands on training activities related to the subject matter provided above to meet the time requirements as stated.
