Shipping Cost Update – Part 2

We continue to strive to keep our shipping rates low and make them simple and posted on every page so our customers know what they will pay upfront without having to load everything into the cart to see how much shipping will be charged.

While we have tried to keep our shipping price the same for our customers, all the major shipping companies have continued to increase their rates by 4.5 to 6.5% every year in January, even without inflation.  Now with the rapidly increasing fuel costs and rampant overall inflation, the shipping companies are also tacking on significant increases in their fuel and extended service area surcharges.

We kept our $9.95 flat rate shipping as long as we could, but now are forced to adjust it to $12.95 to help offset some (but not all…) of these increasing shipping costs.
